No.0078 - 201, Khadim Bin Butti Al Hamed Street
I think is a great example of love / hate architecture!
Whether you like it or not, this bold example stands proud at the junction of Hamdan Bin Mohammed Street and Khadim Bin Butti Al Hamed Street, not far from the Corniche.
Approximately 18 floors high, the facade is dominated by large sand-colored planes of concrete incorporating a connect four-like grid of balconies. Compared to other towers, this one incorporates a lot less glass; the exception being where the building’s corner (addressing the adjacent park) opens up.
Architect and completion date unknown.
