My final subject (for now) from my recent visit to Delma Island.

And possibly my favourite!

The Abu Ala bin Hadrami Mosque is one of several beautiful mosque buildings on Delma Island. Of the ones I came across, this was somewhere in the middle in terms of scale. Using shades of beige and being highly decorated (is that the right word?), the mosques also feature stained glass incorporating simple yet elegant geometric patterns.
