Another building which made an impression when I first arrived in Abu Dhabi. Garden Tower sits overlooking Capital Garden - a lovely green park in the heart of the city. I always found this buildings form, presence and horizontal emphasis a real contrast to the many vertical towers that surround it. I also really like its activated base spread over two levels, filled with shops and outlets providing everything you could need as a resident. No information on the designer or date of construction unfortunately.
