NO. 081 - DELMA COOPERATIVE BUILDING

My second subject from my recent visit to Delma Island. This time rectangular, rather than square.

The cooperative building, situated centrally on Delma Island, really stands out from its surroundings! It’s big, bold and imposing. Its repetitive elevational treatment give it a certain grandeur.

It was difficult to tell how much of the building is occupied. At the time of visiting (mid-day in June), the location was pretty deserted. I’m sure it livens up in the evenings though.

Architect and completion date unknown.
