NO. 087 - REMAH REST HOUSE COMPLEX

A chance discovery when visiting the location of my last post… and found to be part of DCT’s Modern Heritage register (MHC0012) - plaque proudly displayed at the buildings main entrance!

I wasn’t able to get too many photographs of this one as the heat was unbearable.  But, a few notable features were captured: The geometric bay windows at ground level, angled 45 degrees to provide an element of privacy to those inside; the corresponding balconies above; the projecting criss-cross walls defining the main entry point.

Architect and completion date unknown.
